Where is this website we speak of?
The website address is: https://christianinspace.com.
This document basically says over and over that I don’t track or log any of your information, unless you contact me directly via email. However to graciously appease the Powers that Be, please humor the following…
What personal data I collect and why I collect it
Publishing comments requires data logging and cookie placement on your machine. For this reason, I do not have comments on the site. I communicate with readers regularly via email. This means you can visit this website without being tracked.
Please note there are no contact forms on the blog. They present unnecessary security risks. You can reach me directly here.
I have optimized the public face of this website to use no cookies. So there is no attempt to track any of your personal information.
If you were to happen to inadvertently visit the administrative login page, the system will automatically set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This is what makes it possible for anyone to log into the site. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
Unless you are making attempts to log into the admin section of the site, no cookies are used, and none of your information is logged or tracked.
Embedded content from other websites
Therefore, I only publish native content here. There is no embedded content, mitigating the risk of third-party tracking.
Who I share your data with
How long I retain your data
If you subscribe to the email newsletter, your details are stored in Aweber’s system for as long as you remain subscribed. You can completely remove your details from the system by opting out at any time. There is an unsubscribe link easily accessible within every outgoing newsletter.
What rights you have over your data
I have configured the site so it uses no cookies for ordinary visitors, so I collect no personal information about you. If you are on the email newsletter, you can opt out at anytime. This will erase any personal data Aweber holds about you other than what may be required for extenuating legal or security purposes.
Where I send your data
Upon visiting the site, your IP address may be referenced against an anti-spam directory to prevent spam and malicious traffic. This function contains no personal information. If you choose to subscribe to the email newsletter, your information will go to Aweber.
How I protect your data
Every page on the site is encrypted with SSL. I specifically select analytics tools and other utilities that require no data collection. I do not use Google Analytics. Instead of managing your private details, I simply don’t collect them at all. The only section where your details may be collected is when you subscribe to the email newsletter.
I use Aweber to manage my email list. This vendor has their own security protocols and strictly follows all applicable laws. You can opt out at any time with the click of a single hyperlink, which is available in the footer of all outgoing mail. This purges all your information from the database.
